The Neighborhood “Lawncert” Series: Presented by fwdthinkersmusic.com will host different singer/songwriters from around the city to help spread joy and bring smiles to people’s faces!
The FREE live shows will start at 6:30 pm sharp and last around 45-60 minutes. The performances will be held from an elevated bridge that allows concertgoers to walk up freely, maintain social distancing, and safely enjoy some live music next to the beautiful riverside park. NDO is an alternative R&B artist from Tampa, Florida. She is known to DJ and produce as well. She has quickly become one of the hottest rising stars in the Tampa music scene. Her rocket-like ascension can be credited to the quality of the music and the boundary-pushing visuals we have come to love from her brand. Her hypnotic sound ranges from R&B, funk, to future soul. Rugawd is a Mexican-American bassist, producer, and singer/songwriter based in Tampa, FL. He has worked with NDO, Shelby Sol, Anonymuz, Ari Chi, Amaria and other prominent up and coming artists. His mission is to fuse elements of jazz, electronic music, R&B and hip-hop to yield a new and robust soundscape for like-minded individuals to enjoy. (@Rugawdmusik)
There is a cosmic connection between these two that is not seen often. It’s a finish each other’s sentences type of situation. We can all agree that NDO is a refreshingly special creative and someone we are very lucky to have in the Tampa scene. Rugawd (who I am not sure is from this planet) has found his counterpart in this dynamic musical relationship hell bent on bending sounds and challenging the norm.
